Beyond our comprehensive lineup of standard tools, we are the right choice for cutting tools required in the machining of high-precision parts for demanding applications such as aerospace, automotive, and energy.

Leveraging our long-established technical expertise and extensive experience, we offer high-quality custom cutting tools. Approximately 40 percent of tools Sumitomo manufactures annually are custom-made, and our custom tools are utilized in diverse manufacturing environments across a wide range of industries.

We also regrinding drills we manufactured or those from competitors. This allows you to minimize your initial investment. Our approach is to address your needs with a long-term perspective.

When starting a new design from a blank piece, our engineers consider every aspect, including dimensional and shape variations and the selection of appropriate coatings, to create the optimal tool for the application.
